Privacy Policy

Inpitch is a Chrome extension that lets you record and send personalised voice notes and videos directly inside LinkedIn messages. This policy explains what data we access, how we use it, and what we never do with it.

The short version: your recordings never leave your device or LinkedIn. We do not store, upload, or transmit your audio or video to any Inpitch server.

• MicrophoneUsed to record voice notes. Audio is captured locally in your browser using the Web MediaRecorder API. It is never sent to Inpitch servers.
• CameraUsed for video pitches, only when you explicitly choose the video recording mode. Video is captured locally and never sent to Inpitch servers.
• LinkedIn page accessThe extension injects a record button into LinkedIn's message compose toolbar. We read only what is necessary to locate and interact with that element. We do not read, store, or transmit your LinkedIn messages, connections, or profile data.
• Local storageUsed to save your session preferences (e.g. last recording type chosen) entirely on your device. Nothing in local storage is sent to external servers.

• —We do not track your browsing activity.
• —We do not sell, share, or rent your data to third parties.
• —We do not use advertising or analytics SDKs in the extension.

If you create an Inpitch account on our website, we store your name, email address, and a hashed password. This data is used solely to authenticate you and is never shared with third parties.

You may delete your account at any time from the Settings page. Deletion permanently removes all account data from our systems.

The Inpitch website uses standard hosting infrastructure. No third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services are used in the Chrome extension.

Inpitch is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We may update this policy as the product evolves. When we do, the "Last updated" date at the top of this page will change. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
